Eyecandy is a quarterly, student-run film and digital media journal. Founded in the fall of 1999, students have sought to analyze and critique this multifaceted medium. We examine film and digital media in relation to contexts such as art form, social and cultural theory and politics. Above all, Eyecandy is a forum for writers from all fields to discuss observations and raise issues about media as a popular phenomenon and an area of critical study. Our template for academic discourse is both a web journal, updated and redesigned bi-monthly, and a print issue distributed once a year.
